97% of scientists lie

Calling global warming/cooling/the sky is falling science is disingenuous. It is a soft science at best.
But you're so easily fooled, you have demonstrated time and time again that you have no working filter. And this is just another in a long line of examples.

Christ!! This is like talking to children, small obtuse ones. Climatology is a science, global CLIMATE CHANGE is something studied USING that science. B)

That phrase: Something studied using that science. WOW! NAILED IT and I'm going add a few things.....like this:

PEOPLE!! THIS is nothing new and it should not be political. Does anyone have any idea HOW LONG this study of our climate has been going on?? Guesses??

The field of climate science stretches back almost 200 years. Scientists have been studying our planet for that long. For more than 150 years, we've known that mining coal and burning fossil fuels produces heat-trapping gases. For more than 120 years, we've been able to put numbers on exactly how much the Earth would warm if we artificially increased carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere.
And it's been more than 50 years since the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology formally warned a U.S. president—Lyndon B. Johnson—that building up carbon dioxide in the atmosphere would "almost certainly cause significant changes" and "could be deleterious from the point of view of human beings."

If you want to scoff at the science that far back--fine. So how about this. In 1990, when the first Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change assessment was published. In 1988, when Jim Hansen testified to Congress. Or in 1981, he published his first paper on the greenhouse effect of trace gases.

When Al Gore presented An Inconvenient Truth in 2006, the politics became MORE important than the facts and the facts were discarded because 1) It was Gore--a Democrat and 2) It was Gore---a Democrat.

With the advent of satellites in the 1960s NASA began collecting undeniable evidence of climate changes. This body of data, collected over many years, reveals the signals of a changing climate. Since then our capabilities through advanced technology has soared. There is no question that increased levels of greenhouse gases must cause the Earth to warm DUE TO human activity.

AND guess what? IT IS SCIENCE. IT'S always been science.
