And yet she is in congress, making the laws, and she has caught the imagination of the American public, she is one of the most sought after interviews, the camera loves her. She just might be the biggest political newcomer story of the decade.

I mean just look at how ridiculous the RWNJs get trying to slow her down....

She's the rookie sensation, the MVP, she gets the media in the way Trump did, but she makes sense... see why the RW is bonkers about her.

I was going to tack this on to the earlier AOC thread, but this is just too spot on and deserves its own conversation.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the Left's Manic Pixie Dream Girl - The Bulwark
Really? This RW rag? No real political analysis and all about her appearance?

All I can say is that NatMorton, in particular, seems to have an extreme fascination with AOC.
It might be better, to just join her fan club. You might get a signed headshot to hide under your pillow.

The obsession of the Right with AOC is truly fascinating to watch:

.....Ann Coulter, another early Trump believer, has become privately preoccupied with Ocasio-Cortez’s ability to command mass attention, according to a person close to the conservative commentator.

"Terrified is a good word," said the person. "She's terrified of her.” The person recounted a recent conversation with Coulter in which, "She was ranting about, ‘AOC's going to be the next president even if she's not old enough to run.’” Coulter did not respond to emails requesting comment....

At what point do you realize that that blog post wasn’t really about AOC?

Oh, so once again you want us to share your dislike for (or obsession with), and criticism of, AOC but now claim you post was "not really about AOC"?

We have just left a thread with dozens of posts where you flipped back and forth between claiming the discussion was only about AOC's reasoning and not the Amazon HQ2 withdrawal while you asserted all the benefits that the Amazon investment would have brought to Queens. It all just seems very strange and too nuanced for the average reader to understand what exactly your intent is with these AOC topic posts.

Perhaps you do not understand your complex feelings toward AOC. These must be very troubling to you...it is certainly strange and seemingly disingenuous.

Oh Biff! Surely (or Shirley) you could decipher Nat's post. Obviously it wasn't "really about AOC". She's only mentioned SEVEN times in the piece and only referred to TWICE in the first paragraph which has TWO sentences. You'd better bone up on your reading comprehension skills, buddy.
p.s. Never mind that photo of AOC. It had nothing to do with the article either.

OK, this is very complicated. Actually, according to NM, the other thread WAS just about her ( Yet Another Example of AOC's Foolishness page 10) even though NatMorton repeated made sidebar comments about economics. Now, this post which features AOC prominently and personally is NOT about her but about something else, which I guess we will have to find out about later.

It seems that the common factor here is a claim by NM that what he posts is not what it seems to be and we all must wait to be informed.
