Andrew Yang, an unique 2020 presidential candidate

Oct 2016
One of the most exciting and unique candidates to enter the 2020 US Presidential Race, Andrew Yang is a New York and Silicon Valley entrepreneur and the founder of Venture for America. Born January 13, 1975, he has worked in startups and early-stage growth companies as a founder or executive for nearly two decades, and he was selected in 2015 by the Obama administration as an Ambassador of Global Entrepreneurship.

Running as a Democrat, Andrew needs 65,000 individual donors by May 15th, 2019 to get into the debates. He does not stand out just because he could become America’s first Asian-American major party nominee (although he could), or because of his support for universal healthcare (which is an increasingly common Democratic position).

Andrew Yang stands out because he is the only candidate talking about the economic challenges America faces from increasing automation. He believes the trend has brought America to the brink of an economic crisis and that our political leaders are leaving the country unprepared. This presidential candidate wants to give every adult 1000 a month.
