Christian Thought of the Day

Christians have a lot of silly beliefs.

They claim that the Jesus character is the son of God, the creature who made the universe. Jesus said that illnesses were caused by demons and that if a believer had faith and prayed that he could exorcise the demons that infected the sick person and thereby heal him. You would think that the son of God would have known that a majority of illnesses are caused by viruses and bacteria. Prayers and faith don't seem to be effective against germs.

Jesus was just a witch who believed in magical spells.

How could Jesus have said a disease was caused by a germ or virus in a language that had no words for such things. And it is certainly likely that supernatural agents of evil could use germs and viruses as a means to inflict their will.

Also, consider modern western society today where most diseases are caused by diet and lifestyle. Certainly people submitting to their indolent natures can be influenced by nefarious spirits.

Then how could Pasteur say disease was caused by a germ or virus since those words hadn't been invented yet?

Puzzled why you think this is a relevant comment. Did Pasteur even speak Ancient Greek, Hebrew, or Aramaic.? Pasteur had access to microscopes and everyone could see what he was talking about.

Are you serious? You really can't see the analogy? You're done.

Today's Christianity Lesson:

LGBTQ People Ask For a Cease Fire

All of us should have risen up to speak against gay people seeing themselves as normal people.
This is an abnormal life and this is not just about religion, because I do not speak about religion here. What is the joy and satisfaction in being in love with somebody of the same sex?
— Evangelical minister. Name withheld.
