Mueller's position was constitutionally and legally suspect from the start. Now that Whitaker is his boss, Mueller's position is definitely not constitutional under the appointment clause.

TRUMP CAN fire anyone he wants but there are reasons why his advisors and fellow GOPPERS have told him "NO" don't do it....because if he Trump fires Mueller he can kiss his bid for 2nd term presidency goodbye. In essence, Trump will be admitting to fraud and guilt.
Trump handled Mueller and Team WRONG from the very beginning. Guilty or innocent, Trump should have had the good sense God gave a gnat and said, "Investigations are GOOD and if Russia is involved we need to know."

*Constitution as interpreted by jimmyb. Jimmyb interpretation does not apply in the 48 contiguous states, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam or any other place where reality holds sway. DTT is not held liable for any damages, losses or butthurt that comes from buying into jimmyb’s fantasies.

Well, other than the fact that the investigation would have probably shown him to be owned by Russian oligarchs.

It will be interesting to see if the new direction of promoting civil debate will be applied to nwolfe.

NWolfe is one of the most civil debaters we have here. Not agreeing with you is not incivility.

Just like seeing Trump's multitude of obvious faults is not lack of patriotism.

Here is link to a dictionary Dictionary.com - The world’s favorite online dictionary!.

Look up two words: debate and troll, then apply them to his post.

In the meantime, perhaps you can exlpain Article II's principle officer's clause and explain why if Mueller is now a de facto principle officer because he is not working under Rodenstein, who is a principle officer, and is working under Whitaker, who is not a principle officer, Mueller is operating outside Article II'a principle officer's clause without Senate approval.

My first question about this is something to the effect of this: at what point will it appease those who support this investigation and aren't just supporting it to get Trump out of office, just because they don't like Trump? At some point it has to reach an end; is it ever going to reach an end? Is he there to just keep digging and digging and digging until he finds some dirt on Trump, or Trump's 2nd term ends, or is there a way to say one way or another that he has done enough, and reach a conclusion that there is or isn't something on Trump? What kind of impact is this investigation having on the time/money/effort/resources that may be better off being used elsewhere? It has been almost 2 years now that Trump has been in office, and there still isn't anything on Trump. If this activity is going on indefinitely and getting nowhere, then maybe it's time to pull the plug on it.

Unless someone can give me a good reason, then to President Trump I say this: go ahead and fire his ass.
