This is a thread to discuss the voting on Monday by the Electoral College. Will any Electors not vote the way the actual voters, voted?

Who on the Left is holding out hope that there will be a shocking turn of events on Monday?

So no Lefties are interested in the Electoral College vote on Monday now? After weeks of posting about it now the day before its not an interesting topic.

What interest?

Is there any real question but that Mr. Trump will be elected?

I loathe the idea - but it is the way it is.

Now we simply have to work very hard to keep any of his insane ideas or policy ideas from becoming reality.

The recounts fell flat, even showing Detroit had so many "irregularities" the Court wouldn't even allow a recount there...one precinct had 306 sign the registry book and only counted...50 votes. Hillary won in Detroit by something like 95%.

Saw a post today saying a congressional committee decided Netanyahu was right when he said Hillary/State Dept gave money to a group in Russia to work against him, in the last election. any electors that do not follow the "rules" of their State need to have any party activities stripped from them. Most of them are "rewarded" for the party work they do...County Chairs etc

How about listing the "insane ideas or policy ideas" you are referring to. I know...being in the minority stings, but you are there.

There was no recount because Jill Stein did not have a legal standing for a recount. Determined by a judge.

You are spreading fake news. I guess your post should be deleted.

Well, a Republican SoS threatening to remove electors threatening to vote Republican in a state won by Hillary........

Legal clash brewing over threat to remove Colorado electors

Colorado’s Republican secretary of state is brushing aside a federal ruling that questioned his authority to remove presidential electors who defy the statewide popular vote, setting up a potential legal clash less than two days before the Electoral College meets to choose the president.

Wayne Williams said he’s been authorized by a state court to remove any electors who refuse to cast their votes for Colorado’s popular-vote winner, Hillary Clinton. Several of Colorado’s Democratic electors say they intend to vote against Clinton as part of a broader strategy to convince Republican counterparts in other states to reject Donald Trump’s election. Two of those electors, Polly Baca and Robert Nemanich, mounted a legal challenge to a Colorado law that forces them to vote for Clinton. Colorado is one of 29 states with similar “binding” laws on the books.

A three-judge panel of the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday ruled that the state law may remain in effect, but the panel suggested strongly that any attempt by Williams to remove and replace electors who violate the law could run afoul of the 12th Amendment, which sets out the Electoral College voting process.

In their order, the judges noted that the dispute over removing electors “is not a question that has been posed” by Baca and Nemanich. But they added that any attempt by Williams to remove electors "after voting has begun" would be "unlikely in light of the text of the Twelfth Amendment."

That can not happen. Because the current CIC said that election fraud was almost impossible because elections were conducted by the States. Each State having its own rules. So, if the Fed decides to rule on state election rules then that would nullify what the current CIC said. So, it can not happen, because Obama said so
