I've noticed this before too!Why is it that only the right refers to hate, especially for Trump, in here, or other places? I hear no one on the left using the term.
With the right, often they look for reasons to be outraged and fail to realize the overall context. Thus, they will spend a lot more time / posting space whining about the things they don't like than the supposed "offense" will actually occur.
On one forum, for a specific time-frame I spent time looking for how often the word "homophobe / homophobic ..." was mentioned, by who and what started the conversation about that term. Did the mention come from a left-winger making a "homophobe" accusation? Or did the mention come from a right-winger complaining about the "homophobe" accusation when no such accusation was previously seen in the thread?
The vast majority of occurrences were the latter case with a right-winger complaining about "homophobe" accusations when no such accusation had actually occurred.
On one forum, I came across a poster who was virulently anti-gay and he focused his arguments on demanding the left prove that anti-gay people "hated" gays.
It took a while to persuade him I was not arguing that and I did not care about that as it was irrelevant. If they discriminate against gays based on "hate" or an adherance to religious dogma or just plain privileged indifference, it didn't matter as what truly mattered was whether the impact of the anti-gay legislation in question was justified...
