We are witnessing a slow-motion UFO disclosure event when statements such as this are made:

These are reactions between intelligently controlled vehicles operating in and around U.S. military facilities, hence the concern," Mellon explained.

Seriously, intelligently controlled vehicles crossed a line. Disclosure has begun.

Former US defense official: We know UFOs are real - here's why that's concerning
After a bombshell report detailing near-daily interactions with unidentified flying objects by Navy pilots in 2014 and 2015, Christopher Mellon has argued that this information is nothing new, and the government needs to do something about it.
Mellon, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, is involved with a new History Channel series, 'Unidentified,' which will expand on topics discussed in a recent New York Times article. In numerous interviews, Navy pilots revealed that they saw UFOs moving at hypersonic speeds, performing acts “beyond the physical limits of a human crew,” and emitting "no visible engine or infrared exhaust plumes."
..."We know that UFOs exist. This is no longer an issue," he said. "The issue is why are they here? Where are they coming from and what is the technology behind these devices that we are observing?"
..."These are reactions between intelligently controlled vehicles operating in and around U.S. military facilities, hence the concern," Mellon explained.
..."One: there have been near mid-air collisions so there is a safety issue. Two, there is a vital national security issue which is that our sovereignty is being violated by vehicles of unknown origin," he continued.

In the span of ten years we've gone from "You're crazy! Aliens aren't visiting Earth! You're absolutely delusional!" to these stories being on mainstream media.

Although it is rather difficult to not be extremely skeptical that, say, some alien species is visiting Earth, even through drones, it is becoming kinda hard to entirely discount what well-trained and assumingly very responsible military pilots are saying they have seen and seemingly have captured in photos.

(Of course, another possibility is that such supposed aircraft are human-built, though some secrets are being keep about their existence.)

But, if this is truly the case, that being aliens are visiting Earth in some way, what are their intentions?

Are they supposedly visiting Earth in the spirit of exploration and potential cooperation/understanding with humans?

Or, are they supposedly visiting Earth with the intent of future exploitation and control over resources?

(If they are anything like humans, then I think it is more likely the latter intention, rather than the former intention.)

The US Navy is now admitting that there are UFOs. But being a typical government organization, they must invent their own terminology. They call them "Unidentified Aircraft".

To be clear, the Navy isn’t endorsing the idea that its sailors have encountered alien spacecraft. But it is acknowledging there have been enough strange aerial sightings by credible and highly trained military personnel that they need to be recorded in the official record and studied — rather than dismissed as some kooky phenomena from the realm of science-fiction.

FOX no less. :)

The earth, for whatever reason, is on the radar of other races. Are the beings of these races the "angels" of many religious traditions? Very possibly.

I doubt it would be for natural resources. They could get minerals and such anywhere but long pork may be a delicacy to them.
