MY MY MY! Isn't it mah-velous to read all about men's OUTRAGE over women's jobs?? AND DEAR GOD--how will we manage in our upcoming dystopian society without.....GRID GIRLS??

I have to say, I've never seen so many men defending the rights of women to access employment before. Men are a bit less supportive when it comes to advocating for the rights of mothers to stay in the workforce, or women to be given equal workplace opportunities (and financial remuneration) or, funnily enough, women to actually enter motorsports as race car drivers - but maybe that's all just an extremely interesting coincidence.
Because I guess it turns out that in their own way, when it benefits them, they really do care about the rights of women to be able to reinforce their own sexist belief systems!
How beneficent--how deeply moving it is to know that SOME of you are concerned Grid Girls professional modeling careers have POSSIBLY been derailed for life. YES! It's heartbreaking. Sad face.

What a flippin' nightmare to think what we might be creating as a society where we must chip away at the foundations (sexy girls who brighten one's day) of sexism and objectification that have historically positioned women as a mere sideshow to men's adventures and achievements.
No more flattering men's egos?? No more gawking and slobbering?? What terrifying times we live in where once again MEN have decided WHO will work, WHAT they will wear, WHERE they will be sent, WHEN they will BEND OVER and HOW FAR they will bend.
It must be frightening for men....so worried that just THINKING about a half-naked woman will end civilization as we know it.

How about this, boys. Go buy a Playboy magazine.
Well shit, you had a pretty good rant going there UNTIL you said go buy a Playboy !!!! Isn't THAT magazine the absolute epitome of sexist, women as objects for the enjoyment of men ??

BTW my mother was an engineer AND a race car driver all the way back in the early 1960s !!!! It wasn't until much later when I did a little driving myself, that I started hearing how women were NOT supposed to be such great drivers. In spite of my age, I grew up with few of the old school sexist attitudes that permeate many of my generation. My mom did what ever she wanted. That it might be considered a man's job be damned.

I'm not so sure Danica Patrick's crew chief and fuel strategist didn't deliberately sabotage her at Indy that year !

Now, now, now. What are you saying here? Are you implying this about those who have posted in this thread? The posters on this board? Men in general? Just the men in your life?

I'm sure you'll spin this any way you want, but as for the men in my life....no problemo.

so you believe in Womans choice as long as it pertains to a correct ideology? Free the nipple good? Porn star bad? When do women stop being treated like children?
