You are talking about Doctors but frankly that is not the topic. The topic is of course about regulation of healthcare Basically about insurance. The deregulation part is about getting the government out of the way of me contracting for private insurance with an insurer.
What we had was the most expensive health insurance in the world coupled with a huge bankruptcy rate by people who had insurance being wiped out by what their policies didn't cover. It was the most market oriented system in the world.
The fact is, the market doesn't do health care as well as government does.

Obamacare mismanaged non-compete

How do you guys support a system that has created sections of the nation to have only one option.
this is what they were trying for, we adopted this a few decades ago back home in holland https://www.healthaffairs.org/doi/full/10.1377/hlthaff.12.Suppl_1.24 it works remarkably well quality improved and waiting periods disappeared as the state system was dismantled and yet everyone is covered pre existing conditions must be covered and the poor get subsidies for vouchers , it two whole decades to phase in, its amazing that a great nation like the usa can cock things up so bad and a little nation can make it work so well perhpas the secret, everyone should live in a small country,, perhas the usa needs to be a confederacy again( not the racist one i did not mean anythng to say good about slavery or segrgation that is bad bad)

The areas with one option are in states with Republican governor's and legislatures who tried to sabotage Obamacare. In states where Obamacare was embaced there are many options.
