Sen. Coons rationalizes harassment of Republican senators over Kavanaugh – but gives a warning
Tellingly, liberals expose them for who they are ghouls whop worship at the altar of dead babies. It is the only issue they run on, well that and higher taxes. How do I know what they are terrified of?
" “I have to ask you about some of the tactics of some of the special interest groups,” Todd said. “You’ve heard reports, there’s been coat hangers sent to Senator Susan Collins’ (R-Maine) office. Some really nasty voicemails that have been played, you know the tactics, it seems that the extreme tactics being used, I’m sure you get that there’s a lot of passion, what do you make of them?”

Instead of facts, persuasive language is used to develop the foundation of an appeal to emotion-based argument.

a fetus was never considered a human being even in the old testement
Exodus 21:22-25 describes a case where a pregnant woman jumps into a fight between her husband and another man and suffers injuries that cause her to miscarry. Injuries to the woman prompt the normal penalties for harming another human being: an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a life for a life. Killing the woman is murder, a capital crime.
The miscarriage is treated differently, however — as property loss, not murder. The assailant must pay a fine to the husband. The law of a life for a life does not apply. The fetus is important, but it’s not human life in the same way the pregnant woman is.
My impression is that most Americans have a more nuanced and conservative view than the Bible does on this, though we’re getting at the same idea: an important moral and legal line is crossed when the fetus can survive outside the womb. Abortion: What the Bible Says (and Doesn't Say) | HuffPost

Pro-choice reasoning assumes that a miscarriage occurs. But this is not likely.
If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands, and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life .

Good read.

If you don't consider women to be full human beings, his thinking makes perfect sense....
It's only people who consider women to be equal with men that find Braveheart to be a ridiculous boor.
