*Extremely Patriotic
*Very Patriotic
*A Little Patriotic
*Not so much

Explain your answer.
I absolutely love my country, which is why I do not like our current President as he clearly does not. I also do not wish to be associated with the "Patriot" label adopted by his minions.

The key to world peace is reducing the human population by 50% . If we continue on our present path, all civilizations stand to be destroyed before the next century.

This movie will make everyone glad Trump is building a wall. In fact, we may be demanding the wall is turned into an even stronger barrier between us and others.

I watched a shorter version that comes up on the same youtube page as the longer one @ the URL above. & yes, if all the trends continue as they are - rising temps, stronger storms, more water in the water cycle, etc., we're all going to be in trouble in the foreseeable future. That being the case, Why aren't governments & multinational corporations more concerned about the trends than they seem to be? There are some preliminary studies being done, notably by the insurance companies that back up other insurance companies, the US military, low-lying US coastal areas are starting to grasp how expensive it would be to try to hold back rising waters, & so on. But we need a much more comprehensive planning & preparation effort.

Seems he was nor very wise. ;)
You may change that opinion with more knowledge of his reasoning. In the US we have a constitution based on his reasoning. Democracy is rule by reason, rather than authority over the people. Unfortunately, most of the immigrants from Europe were Christians with no philosophical knowledge, and Christianity is authority over the people. Christians just argue about who should be that authority and how to interrupt the authority of the Bible.

The bottom line is money. Not money to manage the cost of not obeying the laws of nature, but changing our ways would be economically devastating! We are like a person with good credit but no source of income, using the credit card to maintain a lifestyle that requires far more money than what a person has.

China may become the most powerful nation in the world because its government has the authority our government does not have. It is attempting to replace gasoline cars with electric ones. This is only a temporary solution because electric cars also require finite resources, but their economy and their banking system are not dependent on oil. China doesn't have a Texas to oppose electric cars and Texas is a strong Christian state that opposes education for the higher-order thinking skills. Being patriotic should not mean being Christian.

However, it doesn't matter what decisions China makes, except the one child policy was a very smart policy. It is far more humane than the reality we will face if we do not make drastic changes. And supporting a global free-market economy is insane! It totally blows my mind that normal people think that is a good idea.

5 Earths

Wealthy nations – such as the United States – have a larger Ecological Footprint than poorer ones, meaning they use larger areas of land and sea to maintain their lifestyles. If everyone in the world lived as Americans do, we would need 5 Earths to support humanity.Aug 26, 2013

As the world "shrinks", internationalism increases. It's the key to world peace.
That could be true if we didn't live in denial and brought our standard of living down to the level of a poor country. Living as though the whole world can have our standard of living is insane. It requires 5 worlds with our resources to maintain the whole world at our standard of living and technology can not change that fact of life. The best technology can do is hold off the inevitable a few more years, and the people will keep having children making the end even worse. It is really hard to be patriotic knowing our nation is the leader of our end. However, we were also a leader of democracy and I am patriotic about that. It is just like loving a child who is schizophrenic.

So you think someone in montana is going to want to have his farmlands dictated by geneva or wherever?
We need to do something about that kind of thinking. We are very foolish to think life on this planet is about being competitive instead of cooperative. What should dictate our behavior is the facts of life, not just our desires and strength. The whole of humanity is on the brink of disaster and we are running out of time to prevent the worst.

The ancients held the idea that the world would be destroyed by fire. That fire means life. As primitive and unscientific as they were, they could forsee the day when life would on our planet would be greater than the resources to sustain that life. Here we are scientific and so smart and we are in denial of what finite means. It is as Zeus feared, with technology we now rival the gods. We are smart but not wise. As for the farmer in Montana, not considering the needs of people around the world, means relying on military might. How smart is that?

So how does someone in geneva have the best interests of Montana? humans are competitive by nature, it's in our DNA.
