According to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), in the first 100 days since President Trump signed his Executive Orders (EOs) regarding immigration enforcement priorities, ICE has arrested more than 41,000 individuals who are either known or suspected of being in the country illegally.

That’s 37.6% more than the comparable period in 2016.

Between January 22 and April 29, 2017, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) deportation officers administratively arrested 41,318 individuals on civil immigration charges. Between January 24 and April 30, 2016, ERO arrested 30,028.

GREAT !!!!!! But sadly tRump is like everyone else. He won't actually FIX the problem. He won't go after his billionaire buddies who hire them or turn a blind eye to their lower lever managers and subcontractors.

Over 40,000 illegals is without context.

Are they criminals? Violent criminals? Hard-working, law-abiding parents? Young adults who've lived here when they were small children?

How exactly do you "administratively arrest" someone anyway?

I am opposed to your e-verify solution.

WHY ?? Why would you object to punishing the people that employ illegals ?? Remove the jobs and we remove one of the attractions that bring them here.

I also support a very small change in immigration law. Specifically removing the born here provision if the parents aren't here legally and haven't already started the immigration process.

I object creating laws so one is required to get permission from the state to work.

Sounds like they were all criminals to me, how did you miss that?
