Agreed. You've made a total fool and ass of yourself Fayt. Close the thread and start a new one like you promised you'd do ... because you've failed to get me to agree with you.

Remember this?

So close the thread. You have my permission. I won't promise you that I'll waste as much of my time and energy on your next attempt to get me to agree with you, but this thread is has been on life support for quite a while, and the brain wave monitor has been flat. Pull the plug..

And I agree with Jimmy on your grammar. What a joke. You expect to be taken seriously on economics, but putting together a simple, grammatically correct sentence is beyond your ability.
Is this the same guy who made a report about me closing this thread and said that I shouldn't? Now that I'm explaining more about the failures of the gold standard, you now decided that this thread should be closed.

I would believe you if only you haven't quit almost every debate we had after I backed your crappy ideology into a wall. But sense you do it often, I'm just inclined to believe that you're being a sore loser again.

So why don't you admit to that? And next time don't make a report about me closing a thread if your frail ideology needs the protection of moderation action.

No really, give real data. Your chart is not even close to the employment rate. Use some accepted sources.
LOL you're kidding right? Why can't any of you conservative/libertarians ever admit when you're wrong? It must suck getting your ideology beat by some stupid girl with "horrific grammar" lol.

No, use real numbers. You are looking for charts on The Google you like. I know the real number sum but you don't. So post the real numbers.

A chart and link that goes with it just proved you wrong lol. The numbers are there in your face. You're a sore loser. Did you know that Jim? You're 1 of the loudest conservatives I ever debated, but 1 of the most egotistic. 1 thing I give you is that you don't quit, but it's nice having your conservative buddies on this site see you get dragged down the street by this liberal. You're the perfect example.

The only possible thing you could drag down the street are your knuckles.

OK, playtime is over. Your charts stink, there was no way calculate the unemployed. It was reconstructed, some use numbers such as today, others don't. Yours didn't. If you were on relief, you were counted as employed, prison, why not throw that in there as well.

Oh my, some jumped on the Google. It was all reconstructed. You do know that there was no agency keeping records, right? How about those relief workers and prisoners?

Okay lets play your little game for a while. If there were no records kept, he how can you say in the same breath that FDR made the economy worse? Shoot, the great depression just didn't happen.

WOW just admit it, you hate being proven wrong.

Dear Fayt,

Taxes - they should cover expenditures. Do you agree with that?

Unions - they once served a good purpose and still can, but too often they become onerous in their own right, self-serving political arms, and dull a company's competitive edge.

Deregulation? Only a person who's always been an employee and who has never had to deal with government regulations thinks, knee-jerk, that deregulation is, in all cases, a bad idea.

Monopolies are, in general, a bad idea.

I disagree with you about fiat money. I see no reason why a gold standard can't work.

I disagree with Keynesian economic theory in general.

I disagree with the way money is created in a fiat money system: through debt.

I disagree with you about "stimulating the economy" through government going deeper into debt.

I disagree with you on using the tax code to "equalize" people's standard of living.

I disagree that police, fire, public schools, and the armed forces are "socialist."

I disagree with you on the latest round of "infrastructure spending." It won't have any long-lasting positive effect.

I disagree with you on the primary cause of our economic problems. I say it's the Fed, and that as long as it and the worldwide banking cartel are in power everything done to "fix" the economy is pointless.

I disagree with you that the US is a terrible country.

Sincerely,

imaginethat
