It would be impossible for Beyer and Sotomayor to have dissented also. It only takes four out of nine justices to grant cert.

Really?

There have been more leftist mobs in the last week than there have been right leaning over the whole year.

Yes, the left's extremists have been active recently, however, don't mistake that for low numbers of right-wing extremists. They are out there. Their fires are kept stoked by the Hannnitys and Judge Jeanniesn, they could go from simmer to high in a heartbeat, and if/when they do they'll believe they have Gawd on their side.

And here in lies the dangers of todays political temperature. Violent socialists are being downplayed as they march behind the hammer and sickle, smashing cars and attacking the elderly...openly in the daylight.. in public as "mainstream" leftists dub anyone to the right of bernie sanders a nazi.

It is shameful

You bet your ass it's shameful to have a president throwing gasoline on the fire. Neither of us claim either of these groups.

Most people don't.

Do you want me to link the legacy media downplaying and/or even supporting the mobs in just the last few days?

Or how about the times when far right groups went thru propper channels to have a peaceful assembly only to have violent leftists attack them at their rally? Then followed up by support from both so called "moderates" and legacy media.

No, I'm looking for common ground. Seems to me that was pretty clearly my intent.

I believe that trump is a symptom, a reaction.

Take the Charlottesville thing for an example. The prominent figures of what was then the "alt right" (before the legacy media co opted the term, and made Richard Spencer a poster boy dubbing it some radical racist movment) had alread saw that the "unite the right" rally was going to be a racist shitstorm and pulled out asking the same of those associated w/ them.

Then it exploded like everyone knew it would. The legacy media and all the lemmings kepts trying to associate everyone right leaning w/ that mess (and still do) demanding people disavow the actual nazis. At the same time noy acknowledging the radical lefts role and in many instances claiming that the existence of antifa and other radical leftist organizations were being made up.

Today i watched a number of clips w/ the legacy media downplaying the radial mob mentality of the new american left.

My point is, you are trying to find common ground by taking a pot shot at trump. That is not a great way to do that. People have been taking a back seat as the left becomes more and more brazen w/ it's radicalization. And the legacy media is promoting it. Trump is the people finally saying enough is enough.

Moreso the radical right groups i am familiar w/ just want to move to the woods and be left the fuck alone. They want less government intervention. The radical left gets in your face, lights shit on fire, stops traffic and for some reason is always fighting trash cans. They want more government intervention in our lives.

One is clearly a threat to my liberties one is not.

Jordan Peterson put the issue together well.

Hey, it was worth a shot, trying for common ground.

Trump is the great divider. In my almost 70 years on Earth, I've never seen anything like it. He stokes people's fears. He's a bully, a ridiculer. A liar. We should be able to agree on that. And, the left and right wing extremists don't speak for you or me. We should be able to agree on that as well.

No? Ah well.....

The far-right was responsible for the majority
of America’s extremist killings in 2017

I have far more in common w/ sovereign citizens or communist compounds than wild sjws or fundamentalists. I clearly cannot stand for how authoritarian the American left has become and i cannot believe that you are unable to see it.

The divide was already there you just didn't see it. Trump is the loud, frustrated scream of "middle America" who are sick to death of being pushed around by the radical left.
