Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand entered the 2020 presidential race on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. As young mom she is going to fight for other people's kids as hard as she will fight for her own. tThe New York Democrat believes health care should be a right, not a privilege. She believes we should have better public schools for our kids because it shouldn't matter what block you grow up on. And Kirsten Gillibrand 2020 believes anybody who wants to work hard enough should be able to get whatever job training they need to earn their way into the middle class.

Gillibrand is no ordinary politician when it comes to linguistic and cultural comfort. Her Chinese name is Lu Tian Na. As an Asian studies major at Dartmouth, she studied for six months in China and Taiwan, becoming proficient enough to absorb stories in Chinese newspapers, and later spent four months in Hong Kong as a corporate lawyer.

Her knowledge of China may help her better connect with Chinese American Voters in the 2020 United States presidential election. View Kirsten Gillibrand PowerVoter page to get more info about her.
