"Senator McCain was an exceptionally courageous leader and a true patriot who dedicated his life in service to our nation. We join the country in mourning his loss. Throughout his career he rightfully held all of us in the national security industry to the toughest and most demanding standards. Yet no matter how passionate the debate or difficult the message, we always understood it for what it was—a determination to deliver the best capability for our military and men and women in uniform while ensuring the taxpayers' interests were properly served. He will be greatly missed."

- Marillyn Hewson, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Lockheed Martin

USA
I'm quite certain that beneficiaries of the USA"s ludicrous military expenditures, such as defense contractors, ADORED John McCain. He continually pushed for more ridiculous "defense" spending.

If the USA cut the bloated military budget in half it probably wouldn't reduce our military effectiveness by 10%. A waste of money that could be spent on "stupid" things like: healthcare, education, science, etc.

Or just not be spent at all and given back to the people that it rightfully belongs to
