Most Americans Do Support The Wall
Your Pollsters Just Avoid Them
Contrary to the statement you just made, a bigger majority of Americans oppose the wall than pollsters know. For example, in the last election I voted for Trump as the lesser of two evils. So, on the surface, the numbers would say Trump is strong on that issue since it seems to be the only thing he has other than whining about how life's unfair.

Think of it like this:

When the MSM began playing videos of the families of undocumented foreigners being separated, Americans became unglued. Some Republicans switched parties over the issue. In reality, it was all optics. American families are separated every day. Ask anyone that has ever been a foster parent for the system. Additionally, when Trump first started out, he began kicking people out of the U.S. that were productive business owners. There was a Hell of a push back when that happened. Trump backed off that strategy and went after the weakest of the weak - those society would not likely miss.

IF Americans were fully apprised of the costs other than monetary that go into building a wall, everyone with an IQ their shoe size or above would reject it. As a matter of fact, if you go onto any Tea Party site and debate / discuss the FACTS and only the FACTS of the peripheral laws that will be used to enforce the wall, most likely 75 percent of the American people would dismiss the wall.

Additionally, after Trump got into office, he did not get his funding immediately. Then he lost in the last election. The House of Representatives fell to the Democrats. He lost support in the Senate. Then some group started a GoFundMe page to raise the money to build the wall. That effort collapsed and the people who started the page had to refund the collected funds. I'd like to put some perspective into what that effort represents:

One of the wallists talking points is that so called "illegals" are getting free health care and bankrupting the hospitals. So, the medical community had a dog in the fight - IF you buy the lie.

According to one source specialists make around $300,000 per year

How Much Do Doctors Make in 2018?

There are over 500,000 specialists in the United States:

Active physicians U.S. number by specialty 2018 | Statistic

Not all of those specialists will come into contact with undocumented foreigners; however, there are emergency hospital personnel, paramedics, LRNs, RPNs, PAs, etc., etc. that do which figure into the over-all picture. But if we use just the specialists only, we arrive at an income of $150 BILLION dollars a year. Again that does not count the 20 or so support personnel behind each specialist. And a GoFundMe page collapses because we cannot find $5 Billion dollars? Simply translated, the wallists are blowing smoke and there is no real concern by those supposedly affected to write a one time check to make their jobs easier and their incomes higher. The wallists do not understand the economics of their own country. Most Americans do NOT support the wall. That number rises daily.

CBS has a horrible liberal bias. Their 'polls' blew it for Hillary. NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, and ABC kept saying Clinton had 62% of Americans supporting her just days before the election. Their numbers were way off and contributed to Democrats using the crying towel.

If most people knew what was coming across that border....IF Trump were to disclose what has and what wants to come across the border, (which he can't) it would create mass panic and destroy the American economy.

Democrats oppose anything that's good and makes sense and it's going to bite them in the butt real soon.

In a day and age when there is such an abundance of material on political psychological warfare, I cannot wrap my head around the right when they are being played by the easiest of all maneuvers - Hegelian Dialectics.

If foreigners wanted to flood across the border the way they're doing today, they'd have done it when Obama was president and might have been more receptive to them coming here. How can the wallists be that silly? Trump is, most likely, paying for this pre-planned foreigner flood to give us the illusion that an emergency condition exists. Our economy, the leaders of the states affected the most, the bulk of former National Security Advisers, historians, scientists, and military leaders that are counter to the wall idea are the best evidence that you don't need a wall and we don't want it.

Democrats would rather spend millions of dollars opposing the wall, let the MS 13 in with their drug Cartels, allow Muslims to weasel through as well, give free health care to illegal immigrants, and pay for housing and the welfare roles. Have you ever noticed that most of them are men? Democrats don't care that it destroys America because 85% of them will vote Democrat someday. 76,000 came in last month. Isn't that special.

I'll never forget it. America's deceitful news network, 'ABC' one day was reporting that the Trump administration said Muslim's were coming across the border and David Muir said, "but ABC news has seen no evidence of that!" While he's saying it ABC has a video going where there's a woman in a full Muslim head-scarf walking among the crowd!
Democrats had no problem funding a wall for the country of Jordan. Only a fool wouldn't understand why they oppose building one here.

As usual people are confusing "building the wall" with actual "border security". Most dems have little issue with real, actual, border security. We just see the Donald J (for Jeenius) Trump memorial wall as just that, a monument to Trumps own ego. Even the border patrol says we don't need that much more wall. There are a few areas that could use new barrier of some sort. There are areas that need to be upgraded. But there is a whole host of technology that will provide border patrol with far better coverage and abilities to defend and protect the border.

Most Americans don't support building the wall

But CBS News polling from mid-November found that a majority -- 59 percent of Americans -- oppose building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. It's a partisan issue, though. A large majority of Republicans support the wall -- 79 percent. A majority of independents -- 66 percent -- oppose the wall, and 84 percent of Democrats are also against it.
