overstaying a visa is a felony. Coming back here after being deported is a felony. Just sneaking in is a misdemeanor. So ALL illegals ARE criminals. they are also line-jumping, selfish, arrogant, disrespectful, greedy hunks of it. They can damned well wait in line to get here LEGALLY, or go somewhere else, or how about this one, DONT HAVE KIDS that you can't arrange to raise properly. Then there wont be any pressures on people anymore.

I have no idea where you got this information but it is incorrect. Overstaying a Visa is a civil offense--like a misdemeanor. The only punishment is deportation...if you are caught.
Criminal offenses, on the other hand, arise from the violation of local ordinances or state or federal statutes prohibiting certain conduct. A criminal offense can involve a fine, an arrest, or confinement in jail or prison.

Civil offenses include things like breach of contract, restraining orders, evictions/landlords, enforcing public codes of behavior. They are NOT felonies.

Your current president has been in civil court cases by the dozens. Maybe he should be deported.

Under federal law (8 U.S.C. § 1325), anyone who enters the Unites States illegally is committing a misdemeanor and can be sentenced to a fine or to six months in prison. The law accompanying § 1325 is 8 U.S.C. § 1326, which makes the offense of reentering, or attempting to reenter the United States after being removed or deported, a felony offense.

Never confuse the term 'legal' with 'moral' or 'ethical.' Everybody can be charged and convicted of committing some offense, and most white middle-americans function under the assumption that they are law-abiding protectors of freedom and liberty. And that will keep them safe until they cross some important interests who want to make an example of them!

The worse thing about this constant barrage of vilification of latinos is dehumanizing rhetoric makes it possible for otherwise thinking people to close their eyes and ignore their plight.

As we see recently in Israel, where IDF soldiers and snipers shot indiscriminately through fences at demonstrators, doctors, journalists, women, children, killing more than 60 and worse-causing catastrophic injuries to most of the almost 2000 shot by Israeli exploding (butterfly) bullets, that destroy limbs and require amputation afterwards.

So called 'liberal' media now responds by blaming Palestinians for making Israelis shoot them (seriously! read David Brooks for one) and blaming Hamas for encouraging demonstrators for approaching a fence with shoot-to-kill warnings. Where is international law when you need it?

But, the whole thing started with the 70's rhetoric of Meir Kehane and Menachem Begin setting the table before future generations would have the right mindset to carry out atrocities. Now, I'm wondering what's going to happen at America's southern border wall in 10 to 20 years!

OK, most undocumented workers entered the country legally, and overstayed their visa.
They never entered the country illegally.

There are categories of penalties for overstaying a visa that are quite complicated. What is not complicated is the fact that that person is breaking immigration law. The only question is, to what extent.

So, in the respect that you have no valid argument to be made, you then fall back on the bleeding-heart analogy. But what is consciously omitted is, that bleeding heart argument is not defending the working poor, legal citizens of this country. Somehow, in the Liberal consciousness, they are not worthy of consideration. Simply put, there is no legal or moral argument that can defend illegal alien immigration into this country.

And this is why Fortress America wants to hide what ICE and other policing and imprisoning forces are doing today from public view.

FWIW the Democrats...or what gets called 'the left' in America today are just a little more gutless and averse to being seen keeping company with the rightwing anti-immigrant mob...but as long as nobody can see what ICE is doing and the crimes they are committing in detention camps, the Dems will give ICE free reign to carry out the same policies.

Case in point: from Zerohedge today, some on the 'Build The Wall' right are having a big laugh today at CNN and other corporate liberal flunkies for first promoting a picture showing Trump-era abuses and then trying to erase it and all their social media comments from the internet after discovering too late that two young boys left to sleep in what looks like a kennel cage was taken in 2014, and....you guessed it...that means the abuse and mishandling of these boys occurred under Obama's watch/ not Trump's!

All the same shit to me! Centrist liberal hypocrites are the great enablers who make it possible for most of the bad things to happen in this world!
