Obama Goes On Rampage Against Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders
Former President Obama has gotten into the 2020 presidential election but not in the way that Democrats wanted him too.
The former president stepped in to warn Democrats that their extremist ideas are not going to work for the average American and how they could be the end of the Democrat Party, The Washington Post reported.
Former president Barack Obama on Friday urged Democrats running for the White House not to lurch too far left in their pursuit of the nomination, while at the same time seeking to quell concerns in the party about its 2020 hopefuls and the messy primary season to come.

Are you on drugs?
Advice for DTT posters who are NOT "HIGH": Go directly to the WaPo link. See if you can find AOC's name listed anywhere. See if Obama is "rampaging". Then get back to us.

Yeah, rampage isn't Obama''s way. But the point remains.
Democrats need to cut out all this drama. And get back to reality.
They need to calm down. A lot.

Overall, we rate Explain Life Questionable based on Extreme Right Bias, Use of poor sources, promotion of far right conspiracy theories and pseudoscience as well as a complete lack of transparency.

That's what Mediabiasfactcheck thinks of it.

So you fully admit to a hyperbolic thread and headline....Got It.

In my opinion Obama gave sound advice to the Warren/Sanders faction.....do not scream impossibility as your platform.

This is all very characteristic of Obama. He is not omniscient. But he is very "status quo" and establishment-oriented. He was also a disappointment due to spinelessness. He prefers to "go along to get along". But what we need most now after the damage that has been done, is people like AOC. Given our current condition, we now have a great opportunity to successfully push forward with a major FDR-type move favoring sweeping reforms, regulations, and changes as listed by the "issues" web pages of Warren, Bernie, and AOC.

On the contrary, Tecoyah, we should not negotiate with ourselves and go in with a tame, watered-down demand because it will get further watered down in committee. Effective negotiating strategy say go in with both barrels blazing. Shoot for the moon. Then when you miss the moon after all the debate and negotiations, you will fall among the stars. IOW, go in unreasonable and demand it. Then negotiate.

If that had a history of success...perhaps. I would suggest shooting for a mountain instead like Obama did....he barely got the ACA through even with both houses, and still had to drop single payer.
