Have you ever watched RT? Makes me wonder when people are so closed minded about things they have no understanding of. Or maybe you just think Jesse Ventura, Larry King, etc., are communists lying to you. But then, what do you do with Veterans who have fought in the wars dissenting against war? Vietnam Veterans for example, or:

nope, and don't plan on it

I refuse to watch Putin-sanctioned propaganda, sorry

I am against war, and support our troops, and if they want to appear on non-Russian state-sponsored propaganda shows to state their case, I'll watch it.

Isn't it "dissent"?
No, that would mean that that gentleman had a legitimate difference of opinion.
"Descent" means he's lowering himself to support the enemies of America.
Maybe it's a Freudian slip, maybe it's just Truth in Advertising....

Rod Serling presents... Flight of the Chickenhawks
Ted Nugent is/was a great rock & roll artist. Love his music. But that's as far as I can go with saying good things about him. His politic is hypocritical at best. He reminds me of Clinton, W, Obama and Trump, when it comes to wars. Sending (or supporting) our troops to fight and die for other countries freedoms. To fight and die for corporations like Haliburton & Exxon.

When it comes to our foreign policy, Ted Nugent is a POS.

I watched RT for a long time. I served on a local recreation district board that provides over the air TV signals to the nooks and crannies of this mountainous area in which I live. In 2007 or 2008, I pushed for RT to be one of the downlinked channels offered over the district's translator TV system.

So yes, I'm familiar with RT. At times, I think Jesse makes good sense. I worked for the Ron Paul campaign in 2008 and 2012. I consider it a real pity Paul was not elected president.

In 2010 I met a lovely Russian-born woman whose family had moved from Moscow to Kiev in 1959, when she was seven years old. We subsequently fell in love and married. I spent about six months in Kiev and about a month in St. Petersburg where some of her family now live.

I like Ukrainians and they like me. I was on the streets of Kiev for Euro 2012, the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship. I felt the excitement of the Ukrainians who looked eagerly to Ukraine's becoming a member of the EU and relished the idea of putting more distance between Ukraine and Russia. I never had experienced the sheer number of nationalities singing and partying together on Kiev's main avenue, Khreshchatyk Street, as I experienced during Euro 2012.

I brought my wife to the US in December 2012. The process of Ukraine's becoming an EU member was proceeding steadily, even under the presidency of Putin's ally Yanukovych. On the eve of the EU-Ukraine association agreement signing, and after a private meeting with Putin, Yanukovych balked. He then proposed an agreement between the EU and the Russia-dominated Commonwealth of Independent States, i.e., the Soviet Union Lite.

Much more remains to be told here, but cutting to the chase, the majority of Ukrainians rejected this proposal, a revolution occurred, Yanukovych fled the country, and to prevent EU membership Russia spread lies about the upcoming cleansing of Russian speakers and Jews by the nazis in Kiev. Russia armed "rebels" in the eastern oblasts of Donetsk and Lugansk, sent Russian provocateurs to the regions, instigated takeovers of local governments and public facilities, and finally sent troops and heavy weaponry into eastern Ukraine.

Ever since then, Russian state TV has been fighting a Cold War with the West in general and the US in particular. So yes, dammit, I choose not to watch Russian state TV commentaries on our country. Piss on them. They fucked my adopted country. Fuck them.

Old Trapper: Makes me wonder when people are so closed minded about things they have no understanding of.

I hope I cleared that up for you. I'm sick to death of all the two-bit wars our nation has fought, and I've protested them all. I don't need any g-----n Russian propaganda to fill in any gaps for me. Do you?
I'm not sure how an interview with a US veteran, from Youtube/Facebook or any other social media is in any way, shape or form, supporting a Russian owned media outlet. Or how it has anything to do with Russia at all.

When it comes right down to it, it's very UNsupportive of the US vet in the video, than it is supportive of RT.
Which IMO, is where @Old Trapper get's the "closed minded" part of his statement. I agree with him.

On the other hand, it's good to see people speaking out against the wars. I organized vigils against the Iraq invasion in 2002. One of them still holds a meeting at a local park every Friday at noon.
Another completely full of shit thing from the right. Suddenly they don't want any wars? Liberals told them Iraq was a disaster and what did these phony patriot idiots say? "you are anti american" YOua re a terrorist sympathizer. And like always, liberals were spot on. Iraq invasion was a complete disaster. But now that the idiots started the disaster, they need to finish it and make sure you leave the country you destroyed in good hands. Now suddenly they pretend they are tired of war, just to defend Trump. Hypocritical morons. Where the hell were you isolationists 18 years ago when you were all gung ho about invading multiple country at the costs of so many lives and billions and bililons of dollars.

And what happened? The Dems took the House, Senate and White house, and perpetuated the wars.

And now, we have an anti war veteran on the debate stage, and the democrats are completely against her. All because of some BS a pro war popular figure (Klinton) said.
If the democrats are actually anti-war, they're gonna have to start supporting candidates that are actually anti-war, anti foreign intervention and anti-regime change. Otherwise, they'll keep looking like hypocrites.

what's the name of the veteran in the video? I'll see if I can find him/her on non-Russian-State-propaganda media.

I told you before that I wasn't going to help you make your way through life any longer, bro. I was pretty serious about that.

you may want to educate yourself

Obama wanted to end the wars. He had intentions to, but it's not that simple. Gabbard would have the same problem. Nobody likes war, but it's not as simple as that.
