Ya just can't make this stuff up, right has become wrong and wrong has become right. Judge should be fired.

Man who raped 12-year-old awarded joint custody of her child

A man who raped a 12-year-old has been awarded joint custody of her child despite being convicted of her rape and another sexual assault on a child.

The convicted rapist assaulted the girl nine years ago and she subsequently became pregnant.

A judge has given Christopher Mirasolo, 27, parenting time and joint legal custody of the eight-year-old boy after a paternity test found he was the father.

Since his conviction for the rape in 2008, Mirasolo, from Brown City, Michigan, has been convicted of another child sex assault, for which he served four years in prison.

As reported by The Detroit News, the victim is now 21-years-old and her attorney, Rebecca Kiessling, is seeking protection under the federal Rape Survivor Child Custody Act to halt his access.

The custody was granted by Judge Gregory S Ross and Mirasolo was given the victim’s address and his name added to the birth certificate, without the victim’s consent.

“This is insane,” said Ms Kiessling, who filed objections on Friday with the judge. “Nothing has been right about this since it was originally investigated.

“He was never properly charged and should still be sitting behind bars somewhere, but the system is victimising my client, who was a child herself when this all happened.”

The matters ordered by the court will be taken up at a hearing later this month.

According to Ms Kiessling, Mirarsolo forcibly raped and threatened to kill her client in September 2008.

Mirasolo was found guilty of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and sentenced to one year in jail, but only served six and half months.

In March 2010, Mirasolo committed another offence on a victim aged between 13 and 15 years olf which he served four years in prison for.

Having read into this, it appears to me that the State initiated the custody change, not the rapist, because the mother applied for food stamps. This just seems absolutely preposterous to me, but in this Satanic nation where rapists and pedophiles are in the highest reaches of government, I don't think it should surprise anyone.

Lord, have mercy.

I take exception with your phrasing.
It's not that "right has become wrong". It's rather that there has been a long-standing problem which you are finally noticing.

The laws in this country have long allowed rapists to have custody rights. It is only relatively recently (in comparison to our long governmental history) that laws have been enacted to prevent such things.
Where rapists can gain parental rights - CNN
And looking at the map, it should come as no surprise that most of the states which allow rapists custody are red states.
Looking at states with laws blocking parental rights for rapists, most are blue states.

Welcome to the America of demonizing those on welfare and food stamps.
Right-wingers should be proud of the outcome...

Mostly. Look at what they buy and how they live to confirm it.
You are diverging from the topic with no observable relationship to the actual topic.
You don't like people on food stamps. You have a prejudice (without even looking at the facts) to people on food stamps. That much is obvious.
It seems like you want to blame them for this problem, because you don't like them.

HOW did the woman in this story incur (and be responsible for) the pedophile rapist getting joint custody of the child?
You mention "look at what they buy". Can you show what she bought that contributed to the pedophile rapist getting custody?

I'm not sure if this woman is a parasite. She's 21 years old and raising a child that was forced upon her.
Because she was raped.
THe fun thing about the Republican "we care about you until after birth" philosophy is the recognition that if she had an abortion instead, she would be in a much better position to care for herself.

SHE DID NOT ASK to be raped.
She did not ask for a child.

But once again, Republicans judge the hell out of people without even bothering to look at the circumstances. Instead of showing kindness for a woman who chose to have a rapist's child, she is attacked.
