The race to erase everything Obama has led to the world careening down a crash course with an ego gone mad at the wheel.

Pompeo inadvertently admitted the Iran crisis is a 'direct result' of Trump's actions
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday acknowledged that the current crisis with Iran was a "direct result" of actions taken by President Donald Trump.
Since Trump withdrew the US from the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, his administration has engaged in a "maximum-pressure" campaign against Tehran, Iran's capital, in an effort to cripple the Iranian economy with harsh sanctions. The end goal of this is to squeeze Iran into coming back to the negotiation table to agree to a more stringent version of the nuclear deal that prevents Iran from building nuclear weapons.
But so far, Trump's hard-line strategy has not been successful, and there's little evidence this is changing....
Pompeo defended this approach to reporters traveling with him to Saudi Arabia, saying, "There is this theme that some suggest that the president's strategy that we allowed isn't working. I would argue just the converse of that. I would argue that what you are seeing here is a direct result of us reversing the enormous failure of the JCPOA."
...Barbara Slavin, the director of the Future of Iran Initiative at the Atlantic Council, said in an op-ed on Wednesday, "This is what happens when you unilaterally pull out of a nuclear deal and then try to smother another country."
"The results of this 'maximum-pressure' campaign are now clear: growing instability in the Persian Gulf, including an unprecedented attack on Saudi oil installations that caused a bigger disruption of world oil markets than the Iranian Revolution, and an incremental but steady resumption by Iran of nuclear activities proscribed by the JCPOA," Slavin added.
Trump's choice to pull the US from the JCPOA was condemned by nuclear experts and US allies who were also signatories to the deal.

Iran should never let an American set foot in Iran for the next 6,892 years.

Always check to see what our allies are saying before taking the word of any U.S. President or Secretary of State especially if they are Republicans:

Japanese Defense Minister Taro Kono told reporters Wednesday that he has not seen any intelligence indicating Iran was behind the attacks on Saudi Arabian oil facilities over the weekend, contradicting Saudi and Trump administration claims about the incident. ...

... The only evidence the Trump administration has released to substantiate its claim of Iranian responsibility are satellite photos that experts said are not clear enough to assign blame. Ret. Gen. Mark Hertling, a CNN intelligence analyst, said the images "really don't show anything, other than pretty good accuracy on the strike of the oil tanks."

Japan is not the only major nation to express skepticism about the Trump administration's rush to blame Iran for the attacks, which briefly paralyzed Saudi oil production and sent crude prices soaring.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said Tuesday that he is not aware of evidence demonstrating Iranian involvement, despite claims by U.S. and Saudi officials.

"Up to now France doesn't have proof permitting it to say that these drones came from such and such a place, and I don't know if anyone has proof," said Le Drian. "We need a strategy of de-escalation for the area, and any move that goes against this de-escalation would be a bad move for the situation in the region." ...

Trump and his staff are up to their nasty little NECKS in lies and of course the cult won't even believe their own government. It would be a real reach to expect them to believe Japan or France or any other ally.
AND let's not forget that in 2014 it was TRUMP was singing a different song: “I love the Saudis. Many are in this building,” Trump said after descending the golden elevator in Trump Tower. “They make a billion dollars a day. Whenever they have problems, we send over the ships. We say ‘we’re gonna protect.’ What are we doing? They’ve got nothing but money.”
Let them fight their own wars.

It took multiple countries several years to make the Iran deal happen. BUSH is who brought the US into the negotiations, that's how long they had been working on it. The deal was NEVER intended to be permanent. It was a stepping stone to a further negotiations and further down sizing of Iran's program. What people also ignore is that WE gave Iran nuclear capabilities. We also gave Israel, India and Pakistan nuclear reactors and fuel to run them.

Everybody but moron trump supporters can see that. If they start war with Iran, the protests are going to be unlike anything you have ever seen and it will get violent. Fuck this nonsense, you are playing with the lives of so many people. Time for the US to stop being assholes to everybody in teh middle east.

I find it ironic they claim its an "act of war" but what about supporting the slaughter of Yemenis? That's not war? Fuck you hypocritical war mongering assholes in washington.

War with Iran will start WWIII

The Iran/US situation started way before Trump- or Obama, or Bush- this particular continuation can be traced directly back to 1953- for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction- in geopolitics, Historians will assign the time line-
