Well no, Rand Paul has never been a chicken hawk. pro-war republican, he's always been more on the libertarian side of no wars of choice.

Here you can see he's been consistent in this particular position.

Our foreign policy is extremely costly. Rands still got a good voting record. 98% constitutional, the last time I checked. But he's not saying anything about all the unconstitutional crap that Trumps doing.

I agree to. But by God, why is he taking up for Trump? Trumps not ending any wars. He's just saying he is.

he hasn't gotten us into any more, even when john the douche bolton pressed hard for a war with iran.

so far he's been better than the last few presidents at reducing the amount of troops in foreighn lands and starting wars of choice.

Bolton wanted to be the next Hitler. I applauded Trump for firing him. But I didn't applaud him for getting us out of the Iran deal and putting sanctions back on them. American companies were finally exporting goods to Iran. Trading with nations is a good thing. Now we can't even do that. And it's turned Iran against us, again.

No, I don't think this is sucking up to Trump.

Rand Paul's view on foreign policy has always been more about isoliationism. He's always believed that the US doesn't have any business setting up military personnel across the globe. So if he sees a situation where he can remove US troops from what could be perceived as harms way, he'll go for it.

I strongly disagree with Paul on this front, but I don't think this is him sucking up. This falls in-line with his ideology.
