Really, Jeb Bush? There's No American Woman Worth A Spot On The $10 Bill?
OMG.....he is SO anti-American, SO give me more tax dollars, he can't name ONE American woman who should don the $10 Bill. OMG......When the Republican presidential candidates were asked during Wednesday's debate which woman they'd choose to put on the $10 bill, things got weird. It was almost as if most of them couldn't think of any important women from American history. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said he'd put his wife's face on the bill. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson named his own mother.
Perhaps strangest of all was former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who suggested that former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher ought to adorn the currency.
"It's probably illegal, but what the heck," Bush said Wednesday night, in what seemed like a tacit admission that the whole idea is a little out there. "She certainly was a strong leader that restored the United Kingdom to greatness." (Not everyone in the U.K. shares that view, judging from the response across the pond.)
