There was no Muslim ban. That is a lie. The travel ban Trump suggested would have let the vast majority of Muslims on earth come to the US. He simply targeted countries with very high terrorist incidents, something Obama had similarly done.

You can't just spout off the fake news CNN tells you. You realize that, right?
Nice spin. History tells a different story than you do. Given your highly distorted views on the world at large, that's not unusual.

Nope.

Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison tweeted that the Supreme Court “ratified Donald Trump’s ‘total and complete shutdown’ of Muslims entry into the United States.” That is a Trump quote from the presidential campaign. But his actual executive actions didn’t go that far.
Trump most recently issued a proclamation restricting certain nationals of Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen and North Korea from obtaining visas to travel to the U.S. Certain Venezuelan government officials and their families were also barred.
The first five countries are majority Muslim nations, but that’s far from banning all Muslims.
In fact, in January 2017, the Pew Research Center estimated that Trump’s original executive order would affect only about 12 percent of Muslims in the world. That was when restrictions were also placed on Iraqi and Sudanese nationals, who have since been excluded.
After the Supreme Court issued its ruling on a case challenging Trump’s proclamation, Ellison reacted on Twitter.

And Obama said that the US had 57 states.

People misspeak all the time

Again, the ban went into effect for only certain countries, not Muslims.

Read the freakin order.
Translation: You're correct, Bob. Trump is a fucking scumbag liar.....bu...bu...but so is Obama!!!!

He said it several times, so it's ludicrous to claim he simply misspoke on one occasion. Yes, the actual order is different. Any wonder why? Hint: It's fucking illegal to discriminate by religion.

And apparently you are a liar as well.

Even the Left wing Snopes.com says so

FACT CHECK: Does President Donald Trump's 'Muslim Ban' Exclude Countries Where He Has Businesses?

Naturally, they did not come out and say that all the media that said Trump was placing a travel ban on all Muslims were lying, no, no, no. They had to say that he did not place a travel ban on Muslim countries he was doing business with, thus trying to find fault with Trump instead of his lying detractors like yourself.

And yes, Obama placed a travel ban on certain Muslim countries as well and yes, he is a liar as well.

But the question must be asked, if Trump did not place a ban on all Muslims why would he indicate he did so? My guess is that the quote was either taken out of context or he simply misspoke. There was no upside for him saying that, was there.

Wrong, but thanks for the personal attack. It proves you've reached the end of that short road known as your intellect. :)

Trump proved that he is what he grabs by removing his 7DEC15 statement off his website after a reporter grilled Sean Spicer on the issue. You know how Trump hates looking stupid by being shown his own statements!

Trump website takes down Muslim ban statement after reporter grills Spicer in briefing
Donald Trump's campaign website swiftly removed a 2015 statement after a reporter asked about it in the daily press briefing.

On Monday, a reporter asked White House spokesman Sean Spicerwhy Trump's original call for a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States" is still on the campaign site if the administration is no longer referring to it as a "Muslim ban.
