Nevertheless. Where there's a will......
Did you hear about the GoFundMe Wall site? Yesterday the campaign reached almost $20 million.
Did you hear about the GoFundMe ladder site?
Did you hear about the GoFundMe tunnel site?

You know who the real winner is? GO FUND ME who gets a cut of 2.9% of the full amount and $.30 per donation.
Actually the beneficiary of a GoFundMe page only receives 92.1% - $.30 per transaction of the crowd funding. But it is a high risk venture for them because of guaranteed payment to the recipient even if the the donation is fraudulent, and a full refund to all the donors should the page turn out to be a fraud. On top of that, GoFundMe have often donated their own money so meet a "goal" should they find the cause noble and important - such like the ones where people require money for medical reasons.

Two point nine percent and thirty cents per transaction is what the is the average total charged by all the banks and payment processors that participated in the transaction charges. Why do you think banks are always trying to do away with cash transactions and go as far as offering rewards/miles/etc? You think banks and card issuers actually do transactions for free and also give card users free stuff and even cash back because they're generous? Why does every major company from gas stations to department stores offer credit cards? Credit and debit cards have been eroding away the profit margins of businesses, especially the small ones that can't jump on the card issuing bandwagon.

Ever see advertisements on the GoFundMe site? How do they make money? They charge five percent on top of the transaction fees that they have to pay by being the middleman. One can't blame them for making money. Nothing is free, including their servers, software, IT team, etc.

That said, ~92.1% of donations to the end recipient is whole lot better performance than say major charities. I think the only crowd funding that can top that would be something like a local Church collection drive for some local cause - and even then,, most pastors/priests/nuns do draw a stipend.

And what, Trump is planing to in fact not use steel? That was another lie? I guess the wall will be Vibranium.
Again, read your own article, especially the part where I took the trouble to quote.

This was not a derail. This was not a slur at anyone but Trump. This was not off topic. I did not misquote anyone. This post was in no way doxing anyone.. This was not porno. And up to now I have not cross-posted. And it was not a post only link.
Who said you misquoted? I said you're imagining in your own head regarding how the wall should work, instead of reading what the CBP says what the wall is meant to do.

Are you going to go after others that post the same thing again and again. If that were so, Jimmyb would have been gone long ago.
I'm just pointing the rules to you since you so brazenly and openly announced your intention. I merely pointed it out so you do not run afoul of the rules. A "thank you" from you should be in order. If you have an issue with that rule, that is not my concern as you need to take it up with the administrator. Since we're at it, you should note that challenge of Staff action in any forum other than Feedback is proscribed.

A steel wall can be cut. It can be climbed over. It can be tunneled under and it can be gone around. And most of the drugs come in through the ports of entry or by ship/boat. And most illegals flew in legal and overstayed their visa.

Steel in even less penetrable than concrete but that is almost irrelevant because it is a very expensive effort with minimal result.

Lying Trump just keeps lying and the Trumpanzees keep swallowing.

See the thread I am about to post.

An association fallacy is an informal inductive fallacy of the hasty-generalization or red-herring type and which asserts, by irrelevant association and often by appeal to emotion, that qualities of one thing are inherently qualities of another. Two types of association fallacies are sometimes referred to as guilt by association and honor by association. the norwegians run their oil industry and do a fine job of it
