So? Now people that always want to live in SF but didn't think they could afford to own a home there can move in and snap up some bargains.
SWEET!!!
In your dreams. In SF and the immediate Bay Area, nearly every home sells for a lot more than what it is listed for due to bid wars. Many of the bidders are not citizens or even immigrants, the're ghost bidders from China that already have an "American" anchor baby should they need to leave China in a hurry.

It is not demonizing, it is stating facts. Many of the buyers are NOT immigrants and may never even migrate, ever. The whole point of the Chinese birth tourism trade is based on their own paranoia of needing an escape plan from China. Pregnant woman comes here to give birth on US soil, then leave with new American back in tow to China. The anchor baby is a ticket to America if they need to flee China fast. They made illicit millions playing shell games with overly inflated properties that were shoddily built and are crumbling before they are even occupied in the many ghost cities of China.

The demand is falsely created by too much regulations that cause building homes in California - especially in the Bay Area - to be much more costly and timely than in other states.

Check this out. The crazy regulations and city council won't let this guy build residential units on his own building. Because reason. Callifornia.

Then there are the "Chinese cities" in Canada. They are doing this all over the world. Some African nations are kicking them out.

China has been inflating its currency fir years. Then using this inflated currency ti buy tangible assets world wide. Specifically land and gold.

The move to dump USD has already started.

Let me try this again for those with reading comprehension issues or brain block:
No one is talking about immigrants. I am pointing out that many of the homes here are BOUGHT BY PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT CITIZENS NOR IMMIGRANTS. Many of these homes bought are not occupied nor rented out, which is worsening the housing shortages on top of the expensive and complicated red tape required to build here.

Remember when the Japanese bought Pebble Beach? They were buying up everything in sight. They subsequently lost their collective patoots later

what you are doing is just typical know nothng xenophobia they used to say the same thngs about catholics and jews 100 years ago and even germans, you know when germans first came here they would niot speak the language or surrender their allegiance to the fatherland that ended pretty much after the backlash of ww1, ant german sentiment was to a significant extent respsible for porhibition, so would you ban the sales, immigration helps the economy, the atitude you express is manifest in japan, and japan is literally aging to death, i was born here you were born here, thats all it takes to be an american there is no american race but the human race
