The DNC is as honest as the day is long, right?

Care to comment on the Republicans cancelling primaries in multiple states. I'd call that rigging the system.
Yup. It's rigging. Same thing, just in a different way than the DNC is rigging their primaries.

could be worse, could be Libertarians, who don't even let the voters decide their candidate at all, you would have to be a registered delegate and go to Texas to have any say whatsoever

I do like how Vermin Supreme is in the lead, as I have been cheering for him for years.

It's common sense. Republicans and democrats don't have enough of that to realize that's the same way they've been nominating their candidates for century. Primaries and caucuses are just beauty pageants.

LMAO.. A democrat talking about the LP nomination process, when they have "super delegates." That's priceless.

But don't let it distract you from the subject. DNC rigging their nomination again.

and that's actually also, in a sense, "rigging" the system against the Dems in open primary states

nothing stopping Repubs from voting Dem, and choosing the candidate who they think has the best chance of losing, though I don't think it will make that much of a difference

still if people are so concerned about alleged "DNC rigging", they'd care about this as well, but the outrage is faux, and the point is to divide Dems.
boom

what I've been talking about all along

Hold on. Are we really going to ignore the very valid point the OP is making? The DNC is literally rigging the primaries again.
WHO CARES???

The primaries are the method used by a private organization to decide who they want to run as a candidate for office. How they do that is entirely up to them.

This is an old tactic that's been used for many decades. And it doesn't take the opposing party leader to get this done. Last time around I voted for Sanders in the primaries to help knock Hitlery out.

And I owed an old friend a favor.

wait you voted for a socialist in the Democrat primary!?! You commi!!

And you won't even vote for Tulsi (because she is a Democrat) but you voted for Bernie?

but you're right, it has been a tactic for years. My mom does it every time. I remember she took me to vote with her when I was a kid, and I was shocked when she told the lady she was voting in the Democratic Primary. That woman is a ardent R, and proud of it. She explained why later.

this go-round though, States with Open Primaries who are cancelling the GOP Primary, there will be a lot more R's doing it. And they want Sanders. trump wants Sanders too.

Yup. A very close liberal friend of mine and I made a deal, that he'd cast a vote for a Libertarian. And I'd cast one for a democrat. He died before I could cast my vote. So It was in honor of him.
And I can't stand Hitlery that much.

I've made my position clear about this, many times now. And you keep saying it.
Why?

Democrats do it to. I would imagine there was a lot of democrats who voted for Trump in the 2016 primaries. LMAO.. The irony in that is hilarious.

I don't know a single soul who did that, or said they might do that in 2016. Every Dem I know voted for Bernie in the Primary. But I was a Bro so that's who I hung out with.

Not saying nobody did it, but I imagine the percentage would be incredibly small. Now a lot of Bros who voted for Bern in the primary ended up voting for trump (I believe 1 in 6) but these people have their own diagnosis in the DSM-V

Keep in mind, Dems didn't cancel their primary in any States in 2016 like the GOP is doing now.
