This little place just sent McConnell a big "Up Yours" and are declaring voting day a paid holiday. They are making a trade with Columbus day.
For all1200 city employees, big whoop! Did anyone but you and the loony bin actually notice that?

We just had a province-wide plebiscite that was by internet voting. They did have a few polls open too but if nothing else, almost all of our public libraries have internet connected computers for public use.

It worked well and the security was good. You had to register to vote if you hadn't voted in the previous provincial election. Then you were sent a PIN to use on the ballot page. And it was all through a central system that wouldn't allow duplicates of PINs. No problems, large participation.

That is the way to go, IMO.

Not for the right. In high turnout elections, they lose big time.
