Impeachment must rise to the level of corruption
Not really the way it is described in the Constitution.
Of course we have established the fact that the phone call was the catalyst for this garbage. No phone call, no corrupt grounds for impeachment.
Actually, it is appearing that Trump and his friends has a complex Guiliani coordinated alternative state department.

Which bring us to a full investigation of Biden's role in procuring a lucrative job for his son, and to why Biden was so adamant about having the investigation stopped. Using someone's argument that they presumed something is the definition of sophism.
If you are arguing that Trump was globally interested in "corruption" what is the evidence that he has been pursuing corruption around the world (or even just in Ukraine) that is unrelated to Biden? Or, are you arguing that the only corruption in the entire world that should be a concern of the US is related to Biden in Ukraine?

It is now being forwarded that the reason the Dems aren't pursuing any kind of legal action about the various players ignoring subpoenas is that first, getting into the court system is just going to delay a resolution forever and a half.

But this way just the act of ignoring the subpoena will be forwarded as evidence of obstruction of justice.

When you're reviewing the current conditions and their history and come across the Bidens corruption, not investigating it in depth is evidence of corruption. The Obama regime didn't investigate and Trump calling for it to be investigated is what should be expected by both sides of the political aisle. The probability that Biden, when he was VP, did exactly what the Dems are now trying to impeach him for is pretty high.

If? All this is is another "whataboutism" following your allegation of Trumps "whataboutism". Unsupported speculation in attempts to ginn up another fake news eruption.
Poor try. Very poor indeed.

Not "whataboutism" at all. I just want the context of this presidential concern. Is Trump concerned about all corruption or just that that might benefit his re-election? Is this really something that should concern a president who does not want to impugn his opponent's family??

If he was interested in corruption he would have sent Giuliani to Kentucky to investigate McConnell.

The goalpost keeps moving:

Trump: Democrats shouldn’t hold public impeachment hearings
From CNN's Kevin Liptak

President Trump said Democrats shouldn’t hold public hearings in the impeachment inquiry.
Speaking to reporters at the White House before a trip to Atlanta, Trump said the public hearings were a continuation of a “hoax."
"They shouldn't be having public hearings. This is a hoax. This is just like the Russian witch hunt," Trump said.

Some background: Democrats announced the first public hearings in the impeachment inquiry will begin next week. Top US diplomat in the Ukraine Bill Taylor, State Department official George Kent and former US ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch are scheduled to testify.

The public hearings will be conducted just by the House Intelligence Committee. Under rules passed by the House last week, both Democrats and Republicans will have 45-minute blocks to question witnesses in which staff attorneys can participate.

Remember: Trump and the Republican party have criticized the impeachment inquiry, which began with closed-door depositions limited to the House committees directly involved in the investigation, for a lack of transparency. The House voted last week to formalize the impeachment inquiry, a resolution that included protocols for the public hearings.
