Nonsense. Everyone knows that 97% of the scientists in the world, guys who average 145 IQ and above, are liberals conspiring to make the oil companies and the GOP look bad. I know this to be true because Fox News and Rush Limbaugh told me.

NASA should be spending their money on coal fracking!

In fact the mandate under which NASA was created is pretty all encompassing. But up close to the top is:

https://history.nasa.gov/spaceact.html
That is because it's main purpose is to siphon wealth from the plebs and filter it off to the ruling classes under the guise of....well apparently whatever is the hot conspiracy theory of the day.

Why dont you guys build your own "space program" to monitor space men and global warming, cooling, climate change?

Go Canada!!!

No it isn't. Read the rest of it. It is for scientific study of phenomenon int the earth's atmosphere and of space.

And more and more, NASA is getting involved in studying land-based issues like groundwater, deforestation and such. Studies which are best and most accurately done by satellite measurements. And it's a good thing, too.
Well, there's a thought-provoking word: SATELLITE.
Do you suppose it has anything to do with valuable information such as a better understanding of weather patterns? Well, heck yeah. I mean as long as those satellites have been up there in space for decades just floating around, THEY might as well be useful.
That's quite a concept, isn't it? Weather--climate--atmosphere--space--earth....??
Don't tell me they're all ..... what's that word...oh....CONNECTED???
Do you suppose NASA has those thingees called MAPS? Of the earth?
Do you suppose those MAPS of the earth change from year to year--decade to decade?
AND do you suppose that IF NASA happened to notice any alarming changes in the earth's map, they might TELL SOMEONE?

Wow---who knew?

Dude, it's all about siphoning wealth from the plebs and filtering it off to the ruling classes under the guise of....well apparently whatever is the hot conspiracy theory of the day.

So what about terraforming Mars? Why has NASA abandoned that idea? Sounds pretty bizarre since not long ago they said Mars would be ready for colonization in our lifetime. And now they say they don't have the technology to do it. Or perhaps they are not being honest about their reasoning for abandoning the terraforming Mars project? Maybe they learned some science and that was what finally convinced NASA to abandon science fantasy? I think that's the case right there. NASA found out evolution isn't true and now they are hiding it from the public. For there is no way Mars can be terraformed. No way at all.

Why is NASA abandoning the idea? When was NASA championing the idea.

Never.

This article from NASA says terraforming Mars is impossible and they claim this is because our current technology don't allow it. This assumes better technology can make it happen which is a line of crap designed to excuse the real reason why NASA has abandoned the idea.
Mars Terraforming Not Possible Using Present-Day Technology

Now back in 2000 when I first began to follow this unscientific farce
NASA - Kathleen Burton

NASA has abandoned it. I have heard so many times over the years from atheists how we Christians are gonna feel stupid when NASA finds life on Mars. Well, no life on Mars and no water....nothing but dry ice. Yet NASA cannot even admit defeat. They suggest that more technology could somehow restore life on Mars. No amount of technology is going to restore dead red.
