There's a new standard in the legacy media today... you can make as many accusations as you like no matter how propitious they are as long as you follow it w/ something like "sources say"
What do you mean by "propitious" in this sentence? Doesn't make sense.
Do you not know the definition of "propitious"?

A president can issue a “pre emptive” pardon. That is what Ford did for Nixon. Nixon had not even been indicted when Ford gave him a pardon.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GERALD R. FORD, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, pursuant to the pardon power conferred upon me by Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution, have granted and by these presents do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto Richard Nixon for all offenses against the United States which he, Richard Nixon, has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 20, 1969 through August 9, 1974.
I understand, but Trump can't issue the pardon before the election, it would look bad.
After he loses the election, how much do you think he's going to be focused on promises to people like this guy?
He''ll be so busy challenging the results, tweeting conspiracy theories, he won't be bothered pardoning guys like this.
He'll be selling pardons, trying to keep his business out of the crosshairs, and looking after individual #1.

No one seems to care. If Trump is held to the law, they're afraid they'll lose elections.

So now it seems the law only matters if it's convenient.

Yeah, we've lost our way.

How about this? Stand up for the law and people will support you? Because lots of people will!

Exactly, the mainstream GOP members in Congress don’t support Trump because they think he’s doing a good job, the number of GOP members who retired before the midterms can tell you that. They support Trump because to admit that he’s a corrupt, narcissistic idiot would cost them votes. They are putting their own jobs and party ahead of what is good for the country. The Democrats did the same with Clinton.

So you think it’s “preposterous” that Trump offered to give this guy a pardon? You obviously have not been paying close attention (actually ANY attention) to the kind of man Trump is.
