Trump-Russia ties and relationships - Business Insider

At this point in time it may not matter if an independent prosecutor is assigned to investigate trump, the press the world over is going after the liar trump and rightfully so.

I wonder if Trump is so insulated that he has no idea how many people, organizations, countries, etc are out to "get" him?? Eventually someone is going to break the story and reap the rewards of being the final piece in the puzzle.
On CNN yesterday the panel discussions touched on this. There is someone(s) out there who KNOWS some thing(s). Who or what is the tipping point?

At first glance, you have a point, but your comment is (IMO) a false equivalency. Clinton has been in politics for decades. Her personal life, lies, scandals, policies, relationships, foundation, taxes, speaking fees, mistakes, and party loyalties have been on public display--argued, published, vetted and loved or hated. Her experience level is something rare--first lady (gov and pres), Secretary of State and Senator. She's a centrist Democrat--always has been--who knows public and foreign policy COLD. She is a meticulous planner--highly educated on the legislative process, governing, history, influential D.C. people, and world events.
AND YES---she has issues--ethical issues, political issues, personal issues, and explosive past. Has she lied? Of course. Has she exaggerated? You bet. Clinton is flawed to the extreme, but compared to DJTrump, Clinton walks on water.
Trump has ethical issues that Clinton can't even being to match. He entered the presidency with 75 fraud lawsuits pending. He has bragged about bribing, sexual assault, adultery, employing illegal immigrants, sending jobs to China, his wealth, his schemes, his avoidance to pay taxes and much more. Trump is the first candidate in decades not to release his tax returns. We know he probably hasn’t paid much if any federal income tax since 1995, when he lost $916 million, contradicting his claims to be a savvy businessman, but we don’t know what other ethical land mines are buried in his records. Does he have financial as well as sentimental ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin? No way to know.

We do know Trump is intolerant of dissent. He threatened lawsuits against his accusers and libel suits against newspapers that have reported their allegations. He wants to loosen libel laws to facilitate such suits. He has incited violence at his rallies. He is, in short, an authoritarian who should never have been given control of the FBI and IRS, because NOW he has fired the very person (and two others) in charge of an investigation that MAY involve HIM personally.
Trump lacks a presidential temperament. He gets flustered when he isn't adored. Trump is also almost completely ignorant of public and foreign policy. He has insulted our allies, praised world dictators and made numerous enemies IN HIS OWN PARTY---which he has changed at least three times in the past 2 decades.
He is NOT a conservative--not a uniter--and has no intention of making America great again. Trump doesn't seem to give a fig about nuclear proliferation and in fact says "Why bother having nuclear weapons if we aren't going to use them?"

So, YES. Clinton has enemies but does she have more than Trump? As many as Trump? She has been investigated on every possible level from fruit to nuts including her husbands disastrous affairs to her personal email server, from Whitewater to Benghazi, with a DNC hot mess in the middle. Love her or hate her we KNOW her--inside and out--which doesn't matter any more because Clinton is not the president of the United States.

Trump?? Well, that's another story. There's too much we do not know, but by the time his presidency comes to an end, I'm betting we'll have enough sewage to drown in it.

And one more thing: The Media. The powerful MEDIA. AND they alone may be Trump's undoing.

So do you think it's foolish to discuss the importance of an investigation and the firing of FBI Comey? Do you think it's unnecessary to FIND OUT the Russian involvement in our elections? AND why does it matter who brings this topic/thread to our attention?

YES, we asked for PROOF during Benghazi, and we are asking for proof NOW, which WILL NOT be forthcoming if the investigation is scuddled. There are still many questions pending:
*Who will be the next FBI Director?
*Will our very divided lawmakers even be able to agree on the next FBI director's appointment/qualifications/policies?
*Can we the people believe that the current investigation will be ongoing?
*Will partisanship become more important than getting to the bottom of this investigation?
*How many more people will Trump fire and will they be persons who have been involved in this investigation?
* How influential will the president be manipulating this investigation and future investigations?

AND there are many more questions.

Yes.....If only because of all the caterwauling we heard from the left bemoaning a Republican "witch-hunt", in the Benghazi/Hillary's e-mail investigation.. ..btw...Comey should have been fired long ago...

Do you think it's unnecessary to FIND OUT the Russian involvement in our elections?
Necessary??...Yes...all the way back to Obama and Bill Clinton....be careful what you wish for...

AND why does it matter who brings this topic/thread to our attention?
When people expect a certain standard of proof they should be consistent and look for it on both sides....There was/is far more proof of Hillary's mismanagement, than there is of the Trump/Russia connection....So be consistent or look small..

YES, we asked for PROOF during Benghazi, and we are asking for proof NOW, which WILL NOT be forthcoming if the investigation is scuddled. There are still many questions pending:
The proof was there in the Benghazi/Hillary e-mail investigations....It was Obama, Loretta Lynch and James Comey who scuttled it (OMG!!!....Clara spelled a word wrong!!).....There are so many questions pending here too...Be careful what you wish for...

*Who will be the next FBI Director?
Trey Goudy

*Will our very divided lawmakers even be able to agree on the next FBI director's appointment/qualifications/policies?
....No, no matter who Trump nominates , the Democrats, led by Chuck Shumer and Nancy (Asshat) Pelozi will attack without mercy, and stall for as long as possible....unless Trump nominates Merrick Garland

*Can we the people believe that the current investigation will be ongoing?
...Oh, yes, it will go on for ever and ever and ever....

*Will partisanship become more important than getting to the bottom of this investigation?
Absolutely....The Democrats will keep this myth on the front burner as long as possible, in order to distract from Hillary's e-mails which probably lead all the way back to Obama..

*How many more people will Trump fire and will they be persons who have been involved in this investigation?
No matter who Trump fires or hires, the Democrats will try their damnedest to make it look either like the Administration is falling apart or that it is hiding something..

* How influential will the president be manipulating this investigation and future investigations?
Your assuming he is "manipulating" in the first place....Proof of that assertion??

AND there are many more questions.
Now, I finally agree with you......And question Numer uno is....Who told Comey to obstruct the Hillary e-mail investigation...??...And why are the Democrats so predictable??
