Nasa and the Mic are two peas in a pod imo.

~snip~
Oh yeah, the Hubble Telescope - MIC

The Spitzer Telescope - MIC

Chandra X-ray Observatory - MIC

Every single planetary mission - MIC

The Kepler mission - MIC

Earth science - more MIC

But let's say you're right even though you aren't. NASA is a $20B pea in a $700B pod.

Regressives...... meh

Once again Trump did not propose letting private industry to take over space station.

He is allowing PRIVATE INDUSTRY to RENT the space station if they are willing to fund it AFTER government funding ends.

Use the private heavy lifter Falcon rocket to send nuclear waste to the Sun. That can be done even from low Earth orbit because the Sun had bookoo gravity.
We have many thousands of times more mass of nuclear waste than every ounce mankind has been able to put into orbit or beyond to date.

Meanwhile, the Earth's mantle contains many trillions of times more radioactive material than mankind has mined and refined to date.

Solution: Bury it. Very, very deep.

I wonder how many people here are aware that "taxpayers are assessed $800 million annually ($2.2 million per day) because of the federal government’s failure to meet its obligation to dispose of used fuel that currently resides at nuclear plants across the country." (Source)

Storing nuclear waste scattered across the U.S. is so not smart. Not very safe, either.

Are you claiming that science only occurs within government environments?
Not only, but the majority of fundamental discoveries were through government backed research, including most pharmaceuticals.

Another example of socialize the risk and privatize the profit.

They are both state created entities w/ no real competition in the market for their services and basically unlimited access to the states funds.

How much does it cost to make a super murder plane?

20 million bazillion hundreds obamabucks

How much does it cost to go to mars?

20 million bazillion hundreds obamabucks

Who is to say differently?

The MIC could go for years and never really have the murder plane. Who is to say anything.

NASA could never go to mars and who would know the difference?

The majority of the "photos" we see produced by NASA are "digitally enhanced images"

We have no idea what either department is really doing besides draining quadrillion thousands hundred obamabucks from the taxpayers.
