A man has died and his wife is under critical care after the couple, both in their 60s, ingested chloroquine phosphate, an additive commonly used at aquariums to clean fish tanks. Within thirty minutes of ingestion, the couple experienced immediate effects requiring admittance to a nearby Banner Health hospital.

Most patients who become infected with COVID-19 will only require symptomatic care and self-isolation to prevent the risk of infecting others. Check first with a primary care physician. The routine use of specific treatments, including medications described as ‘anti-COVID-19’, is not recommended for non-hospitalized patients, including the anti-malarial drug chloroquine.

“We are strongly urging the medical community to not prescribe this medication to any non-hospitalized patients,” said Dr. Brooks.

Trump needs to figure out that he needs to let the experts have control of the messaging.
His idiocy is getting people killed.

AND the experts (not Trump) say "The malaria drug is raising false hope." Period. COVID is a lung eater. If the malaria drug has any impact, it might be a "relief" type of time-killer while we wait for the real deal and that's a long way off.
Meanwhile, we can all sing along with Neil Diamond: "Sweet Caroline...cough cough cough...good times never seemed so good."

Kind of mixed feelings here: Trumpanzees dying following the advice of the moron in the Oval Office rather than medical experts is morally tough. On one hand, less Trumpanzees is good for the gene pool. Plus, Trumpanzees dying from taking the moron's advice = comedy gold. However should people die just from being gullible morons and falling for a con man?
