A meeting of the College Republicans at the University of California, Santa Cruz was taken over and subsequently shut down by hard-left students who literally screamed that the groups very existence was a threat to their safety.

The leftist group initially organized the effort to derail the free speech of Republicans on campus in a Facebook post that openly called for shutting down the groups “right of assembly” while also labeling mainline conservatives as white supremacists and fascists.

“White Supremacist, fascist-sympathizing College Republicans are having a meeting at McHenry library, room 0332. Everybody be aware of this violent racist activity happening everyday on this campus!” wrote a student.

“We need a movement of people on this campus that rejects the ‘right of assembly,’ or ‘right of free speech’ for white supremacists and fascists.”

This Is The New Normal: UC Santa Cruz Liberals Declare Mainstream Republicans Nazis And A Threat To Their Safety For Simply Existing

LOL, the oh so "tolerant" American "Left".

LOLOLOLOLOL.....wow, it sure doesn't take much for you rightwingnuts to get your panties in a twist. And talk about sweeping generalizations and hyperbole!!!

You claim: "UC Santa Cruz Liberals Declare Mainstream Republicans Nazis" like it was the entire student body who showed up to protest the meeting of the rightwing nitwits.

The reality (excerpted from the Fox News story about the incident):
"A core group of three protesters, joined by a few others, showed up, shouting chants such as “No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA!” ... The trio of students were arrested for disturbing the peace, failure to disperse, unlawful assembly and trespassing"

What a funny attempt at trying to marginalize the issue.

What a stupid attempt at trying to magnify the issue by attempting to equate 'three protesters' with all of the "UC Santa Cruz Liberals".....and then try to smear all liberals.....from the OP - "the oh so "tolerant" American "Left"."

It was the Campus Republican groups at Berkeley and Florida State, and no doubt other universities which organize and host appearances by rightwing loons like Ann Coulter and Richard Spencer. So I've heard, Spencer himself was a member of the College Republicans while attending University of Virginia. So, am I wrong to conclude that the college republicans are little more than a "safe space" for the worst potential leaders of society to organize and learn their craft?

Because intelligent people know that white nationalists, white supremacists, fascists and other right wing extremists must be stopped before they gain foothold, because once they gain power there is no way to stop them.

Isn't that what the Dotard-in-Chief says about Muslims and Mexicans?

"Was it lefties marching with torches and chanting "Blood and soil"?

But you chose to ignore that, don't you.

The fact that it's three demonstrates that it's not any real, sizable movement.

And again, I am continually amazed at how many right-wingers try to pull the intellectual equivalent of "nuh-uh" in response to valid points. You say that his argument is a "funny attempt", but not one intelligible word as to why you think it's not valid.
You just claim it's wrong, with absolutely no explanation given.

So caconservative, if I were able to point to an example of three right-wingers doing something heinous, could I stereo-type that onto the entire group of right-wingers as well?
Would you agree that would be a logical assessment?
