Seems to be at odds with the rhetoric from the left. What's new? They're coming out wrong most of the time.

Interesting to note, but we're not seeing this on display here. In fact, the US is predicted to become the next epicenter for the outbreak:U.S. could become 'coronavirus epicenter', U.K. locks down
Even being the best prepped for this isn't going to good enough? Why don't we wait a bit and see. The politically motivated doom and gloom from the liberals and their complicit cronies in the media is biting it big time right now. The public has show that they aren't buying it any more.
Sleepy Joe is gonna take a hit for it too.

If you're trying to critique people for using politically motivated rhetoric, siting Fox News might not be the best strategy.

Be that as it may, from the Fox News article, "The Global Health Security Index was was "developed with guidance from an international panel of experts from 13 countries, with research by the Economist Intelligence Unit," The Washington Post reported last year. "More than 100 researchers spent a year collecting and validating publicly available data.”

When you actually click on the Washington Post article you find an article titled:
None of these 195 countries — the U.S. included — is fully prepared for a pandemic, report says

Oh and BTW, if you want to talk about coming out wrong most of the time, which party was it saying this was the common cold? It was the flu? It's not a big deal? Because the entire US economy seems to think yea, this is kind of a big deal.

I realize that deep thought and foresight may not be your forte but, you should try to understand we are at the beginning of this and no where near the end.....I doubt you will be spewing this in 6 months.

We should remember that in the summer of 1918 the flu went away, only to come back in the fall, the second wave caused more death than the first.

The Corona virus is more tenacious than the flu, virus is being found on surfaces in the infected cruise ships 17 days after the last passenger was disembarked. If we get this to the point where we can return to "normal", it will only be until the second wave arrives. That will go on until a vaccine is developed and deployed.

And if a study declared the US "Better Prepared" so what? We have a real shortage of medical equipment, and we are only to 46,000 confirmed cases today. What happens when confirmed cases hits the millions?

Same thing happened with the Swine Flu. Came up, went away, but came back when people got careless.

Although if we're calling the "Coronavirus" the "China Virus", we actually should call "Swine Flu" the "America Flu"

Color me SHOCKED that his piece comes from FOX'S Friends! A couple of thoughts and comments.

Let's start with the opening claim: "The United States was ranked the best-prepared country in the world to handle a pandemic in late 2019..." Stop. What year? 2019. But note the adjective: "late" 2019. Okay--so not THAT long ago. Very clever on Gregg Re's part.
Next. Where in the article IS the LINK to the Johns Hopkins study? Did Fox provide it? Hmmm.....can you find it?
Here it is: Here's the Johns Hopkins study President Trump referenced in his coronavirus news conference
Read it for yourself and you find a whole lot of juicy, somewhat contradictory information...but I'll let you be the judge.
But this is one of my favorite parts of the piece and I think you'll like it to: "President Trump's campaign has argued in recent days that misinformation may be one of the leading causes of that lack of confidence."
If you just spit your latte all over the screen, you're in good company. Trump is CONCERNED about MISINFORMATION??????? Stunning, isn't it?
The HOAX thingy. Shame on us for LYING about Trump calling the virus a hoax. But...If you click on the LINK "proving" that Trump did no such thing, IT takes you to another FOX news article. Here's that link somehow suggesting that Twitter is defending Trump: Twitter rebuffs Trump campaign bid to label Dem video 'manipulated'
So, who's to blame so far?
China
Congress
Evil media
Biden
Well, at least they aren't blaming Pence........yet.
