Excuse me? I'm not exactly understanding what you're asking.
What is distance composed of.

Physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, what are we measuring?

Physically mostly, however if it would be easier for you to answer emotionally or mentally that would be welcome.

Still seems vague, but distance is the three-dimensional space between two or more objects.

Space as in lack of matter, or space as in distance.

Are you asking for a definition of distance, or are you asking how we measure the definition? I'm not sure that definitions have measurements.
I am asking, Why does distance exist. What is it composed of? How would you manipulate it? What is its properties?

[/quote]Distance is simply a comparison between two points. What makes you think distance is "composed" of something? The only way to describe distance is to accurately describe the two points. For example, there seems to be some distance between our understandings of the definition of "distance." To find out the distance between our definitions, we have to discuss the definitions, but the distance between our two definitions would not be a substance in and of itself.
