Life in Heaven is no life?
Yeah, that is one of the lamest things religious people try to claim to explain the cruelties of life. Oh, how can we know good if we don't know bad. just a complete copout, and completely bogus. it solely relies on their experience in a world that has good and bad. God could have made the world anyway he wanted if he truly was all powerful. Animals wouldnt' have to fight and kill other animals for food. If god created it all, he created all the bad. THE microorganisms, the food chain, the pain, the suffering, all the other cruelties of life (even on a biological level) .

So consider a world and life with no adversity. Do you ever learn trust? Fidelity? There’s no need for empathy because no one ever suffers anything to empathize with. You can lay on couch all day satisfying any physical desire that occurs to you. You will never get fat, sick, or ashamed.

That is speculative fantasy, so what does it have to do with anything?

I am demonstrating the difficulty of judging God for making life as it is.
You're touching on the real and underlying reason that so much of religion is bullshit. The essence of all genuine religion is the cultivation of a personal, inner, spiritual awareness. The process, then, ...--even as spelled out in the bible, ...-is one of progressively withdrawing from the world to cultivate that inner awareness. This is a fact that is true of every genuine religion as it was originally conceived. (This means that if you find a religion that directs practitioners to the world and to events and acts in the world, it is a false religion.)

As any religion grows and expands from the original teachings, as the years and centuries pass, to include more and more worldly entanglements (as Christianity has) is changing to be more worldly and to diminish the original purpose. This constitutes a degeneration of the religion.

Individual enlightenment can be a good even great thing. But I think we can also learn from others. And to learn from others someone must eventually decide they have something to teach. I concede this a path of much peril.

Certainly addresses the degeneration of this Christian Nation where SCOTUS Rehnquist's Islamophobia to kill Americans as diminishing the law of the land prior to 9/11 had such a profound affect with those burning Bush's Al Qaeda health care plan more perfect union Catholic Church brokering "serve the Pope or die" Christiananality pedophilia patriot act for Islam "death to the infidels" business.

Again, you are equating your experiences in the world as it is made today to make excuses. Why would I have to learn to trust? God could make the world so everybody is trustworthy. There is no need for "trust " like we experience. If there is no suffering, why would there be a need for empathy? Nobody would have it because god could have made the world without suffering.

And a loving god would have created a world where you odn't feel fat, sick or ashamed.

If god was all powerful and loving, the god would have made a better world. Not the cruel life we have now
