Why are the smartest Christians smarter than the smartest Atheists?

Perhaps the answer is because such minds can see more evidence for GOD.

The same goes for the socialist claims. Such minds can see much further down the path of technological breakthroughs and see that in a future where things are done easier there is not as much work to be done and therefore a need for a path of survival for everyone and quite often such thinkers do not take into account human emotion when making such determinations.

Hilarious. Not only is the list incorrect (the highest IQ ever measured was well over 200, not 198 like your fact-proof article maintains), but it's blatantly "leading" despite the weasel words at the bottom " Now to be sure, none of this is to be taken as an argument for God’s existence, nor is it a claim about the relevancy of IQ tests regarding this question. But since no one would deny the intelligence of these people, it is, at least, yet another example of how off base many claims made by modern atheists can be. "

The real question is this: are the theists so desperate not to be thought of as morons that they would lie and disseminate lies to bolster their assertion they aren't simple-minded children and dullards? I think in light of the past history of theists that lying is not only likely, but PROBABLE. I know Garry Kasparov (Twitter, been a fan of his for a long time), and he's not a religious man in any way, shape, or form. Yet he's on your list, lol.
From the linked article in the OP:

1. Andrew Magdy Kamal – apparently the highest IQ ever recorded, at 231.734.
2. Abdessellam Jelloul – apparently the highest IQ ever scored by an adult- an adult IQ of 198
3. Christopher Michael Langan – has a verified IQ of at least 195
4. Christopher Hirata – has a verified IQ of 225
5. Evangelos Katsioulis – has apparently scored a 198 as an adult.
6. Rick Rosner – has apparently scored a 192 as an adult,
7. Mislav Predavec – has apparently scored a 192
8. Gary Kasparov – is alleged to have an IQ of 190
9. Kenneth Ferrell – has apparently scored a 190
Title of article:

Out Of The Top 10 Most Intelligent People In The World: At Least 8 Think God Exists And 6 are Believing Christians

Kasparov is no atheist:

Kasparov: No; I'm Russian. My father was a Jew. My mother was an Armenian. But I was born in Baku. It's a multi-ethnic community; it's like melting pot, like New York, and I —

Rosen: But religiously —

Kasparov: No.

Rosen: — what is your religion? No?

Kasparov: No. I, I would call myself a Christian, you know, sort of self-appointed Christian. But I, I'm very indifferent to that.

An IQ of 231.734? Now that is some precise measurement. Or total bullshit.
Maybe it is or maybe it is not, however you seem to have no issues with GM misrepresenting an article due to theological position, but instead chose to add your own deflection once again.

That isn't a deflection, just another data point for the case against this OP on a factual basis.

i love how the article says this:

2. Abdessellam Jelloul – apparently the highest IQ ever scored by an adult- an adult IQ of 198

immediately after saying:

1. Andrew Magdy Kamal – apparently the highest IQ ever recorded, at 231.734.

apparently 98=231

its very hard to take this article seriously.

Amazing precise by their measurements. Your knee jerking is betraying your intellect.

At the age of 16 Andrew Magdy Kamal scored 295.67+222+205+240+196 on the Cattell Cultural III Assessment, Binnet SB 5th Scale, Cerebral Society's IAW Scale, A.C.E. Viper Scale, and Mensa Gifted Scale, respectively. The collective score was 1158.67 for an average of 231.734.

Andrew was 16yo. What is so hard to see "by an adult" as a category?

When a web-site publishes an article, often other web-sites will repeat it.
That is what has been done here...

Worse, the original article (the Examiner referenced article) is no longer available.
As of early 2014, Examiner.com was a property of Philip Anschutz-owned[3][4][6] AEG, and announced it would be partnering closely with ticket merchant AXS.[7] Subsequently, Examiner operations were announced to be shutting down on July 10, 2016.[8]
Examiner.com - Wikipedia

Also, it's amusing to note this comment in the article:
Matt Smith of the San Francisco Weekly noted in 2007 that numerous articles and photos by Sharon Gray were from other sources, including the Sacramento Bee, and constituted apparent plagiarism. Smith suggested that the case showed that "free isn't always a bargain."[24] When questioned, Jim Pimentel, executive editor of Examiner said,
They're blogs. They don't get edited. We don't give any direction to people on what to write in their blogs. And that's standard operating procedure.[4][24]
So the reality is that multiple web-sites have quoted an article that references a long defunct BLOG, and you're quoting it as fact.
Multiple people by now have pointed out that the claim is factually wrong and there are people with higher documented IQs.
